Strumento per l'assaggio del vino,ormai sostituito dal bicchiere da degustazione.Il tastevin è una piccola tazza in argento o silver plated,con un anello e un poggiadito,che funge da manico.All'interno ci sono piccole concavità che servono per l'osservazione del colore dei vini rossi,o nervature allungate,sempre concave,per quella dei vini bianchi.Al centro c'è una bolla convessa,la cui sommità indica la quantità massima di vino da mettere nel tastevin.Attorno a questa bolla centrale ci sono altri piccoli rilievi,per favorire l'ossigenazione del vino e la liberazione del profumo.
